Whatever happened to “metric”, “chopper”, and plain old “custom” show n’ shine categories? What the heck is non licence custom????? And rubber mount engine class? Never could figure that one out. How ’bout “sport bike/cafe”? If a guy rolls in with a Rice rocket or cafe style bike, where are you going to put him…..cruiser?
Thanks for bringing that to our attention Rolly. Although several of the Toy Run members ride metric bikes, we missed a couple of those categories when setting up the event. This morning we had a quick telephone conference, and we have changed the “Sportster Class” to “Sport Bike”. Other metric bikes would fall under the “Cruiser/Decker/Bagger”, “Classic” or “Antique” classes.
We own a 2008 Rocket III Triumph. Any chance you have a class for our bike.. Sounds like it will be a blast. See you at the event
The Triumph Rocket III is a great bike, and would fit in the Cruiser/Decker/Bagger class.
My name is Justin and I am from chemainus and would like to enter my 1985 goldwing ltd and matching trailer in the show n shine. would i be in the classic class or bagger class?
Hi Justin
By all means enter your Goldwing in the Show & Shine. The way we see it, you can enter your bike in either class, that choice would be up to you. See you at the event.
