Great Nanaimo Toy Drive

The Nanaimo Toy Run Society donated $9,460.00 in toys and cash to the Great Nanaimo Toy Drive, which will be distributed to about 700 needy families in the Nanaimo area with toy distribution to be at the old Harewood School gym on Dec. 19 and 20. With such a success on their first event, the 2nd annual Nanaimo Toy Run promises to  be a great event also. The 2011 First Annual Nanaimo Toy Run featured three live bands that provided entertainment, a beer gardens, the bike rodeo and lot of vendors. There should be lots of fun for everybody again in 2012, and we hope to see more bikes attend.
